**CRANK UP THE VOLUME- WE HAVE MUSIC**
If you look to the side of the first pictures @ the top - these are our children's bloggs- just click on and you can see what's up in their lives-enjoy!
Well, we certainly are getting a lot of white stuff, about 12 inches this time(total of 43 inches since before Christmas- that is unimaginable for Virginia). Misty, Tucker(in blue snowsuite) & Ty(in red snowsuite) came over the day before it started, Thurs., and stayed till Sunday when their street was ploughed. We made tobboggan's out of cardboard and plastic- they were so...much fun sliding down the front hill. Then it was inside for brownies & hot chocolate-yummy & a warm fire.
More Snow- can you believe it? Were getting more than Canada- it looks so pretty-glad I'm inside thought. This is from our front porch, we can usually see the mountains, but the're all clouded over with snow clouds.
December was a busy month- as it is for everyone. We had put up our tree early- before we left to have Thanksgiving with Vanessa and her family. And then the rush began- the year is nearly over and I'm still wondering where June went to... Oh, well
We pick names at Christmas and Misty & Ian had us- well, instead of our children buying us something when they get us we have asked for their talents, with us buying the material and they provide their talents. Misty & Ian had our name this year and we asked for a head board for our bed- take a look it turned out wonderful. Valerie had gotten a Lowe's catalogue free decorators book in the mail and had liked this one headboard and they were able to make it.
Also, we had a wonderful surprize- snow at Christmas- and a lot of it about 2 feet- the kids loves it.
We went to Vanessa's for Thanksgiving. We never stopped going... Thanksgiving dinner, then Black Friday for Vanessa and I- we never did go to bed that night. Tea Party's with the girls- the boys thought it was not fair and so Philip and the boys had there own in the dinnering room while the girls had one in the kitchen, we were the energizer bunnies- they Christmas lights on at Fort Rucker- they were fantastic- the pictures do not do them justis. But, we did miss Chris!!!
Philip, Valerie, Misty, Ian, Tucker and Ty. We all went to the Pumpkin Patch, it was a really good one. The boys played in the corn box(like a sandbox only corn), went on cow rides, slides down a steep under ground slide, we all went through the corn maze and amazingly we found our way out. We also saw the animals and just plain had fun.
