Charleston, SC

We had a great time in Charleston South Carolina- we were on our way to a trade show and headed out early to visit this charming town. It's right on the ocean, has cobblestone streets, horse drawn carriages and great sea food.

Newest US citizen

On April 9th Misty was declared a US citizen- this has been one long road - and hopefully it will get shorter for the rest of us now!

Time in Texas w/grandchildren

While Vanessa & Chris went on a cruise we had a better time then they did playing with the grandchildren. We gardened, went and saw "Return to Witch Mountain", watched Conference with all the kids at their home, the girls showed us how well they are at karoke, played a lot of WEII (found out that Nana's not any good at it) and then Philip got a little teary eyed when Vanessa & Chris got home and we new our visit was at an end.

The Weather Outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful........

And since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....this weekend gave a whole new meaning to this winter song for us in the south. This weekend we had snow- can you beleive it. Wade got stuck in our driveway, Misty is staying overnight with the boys, I can't remember the last time we had this much snow- it was beautiful from our front window. The missionaries had to leave their car at our house - they had come over for dinner- Philip drove them home
