Time in Texas w/grandchildren

While Vanessa & Chris went on a cruise we had a better time then they did playing with the grandchildren. We gardened, went and saw "Return to Witch Mountain", watched Conference with all the kids at their home, the girls showed us how well they are at karoke, played a lot of WEII (found out that Nana's not any good at it) and then Philip got a little teary eyed when Vanessa & Chris got home and we new our visit was at an end.

From snow to 82 degrees-2 Extreams- In less than a week

Last week snow this week B-B-Q weather- hope this holds till next Christmas.

The Weather Outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful........

And since there's no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....this weekend gave a whole new meaning to this winter song for us in the south. This weekend we had snow- can you beleive it. Wade got stuck in our driveway, Misty is staying overnight with the boys, I can't remember the last time we had this much snow- it was beautiful from our front window. The missionaries had to leave their car at our house - they had come over for dinner- Philip drove them home

Meredith's Blessing

What a special time it was for all of us on Meredith's Blessing Day.After the blessing we all went back to Wade & Rachel's and had Amy's (Rachel's Mom) famous Chicken & Dumplins, and a cake that Misty made.

As usual Tucker, Mackenzie & Ty love getting together.

This week Roanoke got snow- can you believe it- we must have brought it back from Canada, at least that's what we've been told. That's OK though it was gone by the afternoon. 1/09

Burr........can't say were unhappy to say goodbye to this cold weather- Virginia here we come!!!!
